Dear LB,

No matter how dedicated I am to finding time to workout—there always seems to be a reason why I can’t get around to it. I know I should be getting exercise but find it almost impossible. Suggestions??

We have some basic tenets to how to find time to exercise–and these are from us–real women who have lots of other responsibilities sucking their time away! CLICK TO PLAY EPISODE

1. Think of it as a 401k for your body! Invest in your future mental and physical health–the more you put into it now, the better off you’ll be as you age. Picture the decrepit, mentally weak aged you see now and then. Do you want to be like that? Or the robust, energetic kind?

2. Take baby steps! Don’t feel the need to overachieve, you’ll burn yourself out–take it easy, and just get it done.

3. Make a commitment and set a time– put it on your schedule–then you can’t decide you have something else to do!

4. Get a workout buddy–you will keep each other motivated.
